1. View of mildly erupting Mayon volcano, bright flash from meteor falling beside it
STORYLINE:
The flash of a meteor fall was seen near to a volcano in the Philippines on Monday.
The landing was caught on a Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology webcam as the Mayon volcano was experiencing a low-level eruption.
The institute said the meteor had disintegrated during its plunge through the atmosphere and did not strike the slopes of the Mayon.
